The China Iron, the woman who beat Martín Fierro at a game of cards, accompanies Liz, an Englishwoman who is searching for her husband. China, now free of the gaucho’s lasso, embarks on a journey of exploration through the textures, flavors, and pleasures that the land and her new companion offer. After a long journey, they arrive in Paraíso, where they find a free world in which the creatures embrace each other in desire and the rivers, birds, and trees enjoy the same sort of love.
