Historia y sociedad: el cine argentino y brasileño desde los años 80

This volume is the result of the International Colloquium Cinema, History, and Society: Three Decades of Argentine and Brazilian Cinema, which took place in October of 2004 at the University of Ottawa. Other texts have been added subsequently to create the present collection. Eight authors from different nations reflect critically upon the cinematic production of these two Latin American countries during a particularly turbulent period.
El núcleo de este volumen se remonta al Coloquio Internacional Cine, historia y sociedad, Tres décadas en el cine argentino y brasileño, realizado en octubre de 2004 en la Universidad de Ottawa, Canadá. Igualmente se han añadido otros textos que han permitido producir este libro. Un grupo internacional de ocho autores le da una mirada analítica y crítica a la producción cinematográfica de estos dos países latinoamericanos durante un período particularmente agitado.
